Role: Accounts Assistant

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 + Benefits
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple business units, supporting core financial processes in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate transaction processing, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in line with company policies
- Reconcile vendor and customer statements
- Complete system-generated bank reconciliations
- Enter and validate financial data and journal entries
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Respond to queries related to invoices, payments, and financial documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and service level agreements
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Shared Services finance team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Numerically literate with solid Excel skills
- Previous experience in finance, bookkeeping or accounts support
- Experience in the automotive industry or with Keyloop DMS is a plus
- Enthusiastic, curious and eager to learn
